Community Council

Pinwherry and Pinmore Community Council meet on the 3rd Thursday of each month. The meetings are held at 7pm, in the Old Pinwherry School House, unless otherwise announced. Everyone from our Community is welcome to attend the meetings.

Vacancies

The Pinwherry & Pinmore Community Council currently has 2 vacancies.

Community Councils give local people a real say in matters such as local service deliver and other issues which affect dailv lives. Community Councils have a local and statutory interest in the planning process. Local Authorities are required to consult Community Councils on planning applications affecting their areas. Liquor licensing and some other licensing matters may also be of keen interest to Community Councils and are areas on which Community Councils views might usefully be sought.

Anyone resident within the area of Pinwherry & Pinmore Community Council who is aged 16 years or over who is interested in becoming a Community Councillor should contact SAC as detailed below before Wednesday 14th June 2023.

SAC Information and Advice Hub

South Ayrshire Council have launched a new online Debt Advice Pack which gives resident’s within South Ayrshire the opportunity to reach out for help with personal debt. Advisors are trained up to Bankruptcy level and offer a number of debt solutions suited to the customers personal circumstances. Their services are free, impartial and confidential to all users, supporting the Council’s commitment to Closing the Gap by reducing poverty and disadvantage.
