SSE Renewables, the renewable energy development division of SSE, is proposing a wind farm approximately 7km east of Girvan, South Ayrshire, adjacent to our existing Hadyard Hill Wind Farm.
We are proposing an extension of up to 51 turbines to be located to the east and south of the existing wind farm along with the associated wind farm infrastructure.
We are holding public exhibitions in order to provide the local community the opportunity to meet members of the project development team and discuss our proposals.
Comments received during the exhibitions and before 31 May 2014 will be taken into consideration during the remainder of the development process.
Copies of the exhibition boards and comments forms will be available for download from the project website from 1 May 2014.
